The playroom that WILL be.
We’ve lived in this house a little over three years, and prior to that, we ripped the whole house apart and then put it back together. Good as new. Had to be, as it’s over 100 years old. The playroom is something that’s been on “the list” for all that time, but never got precedence. The good news is, we have inspiration. Thankyouverymuch Pottery Barn.
The even better news is that we have that room. Okay, not that exact room, but close enough that it’s exciting. Even better yet is that work has finally begun on the playroom! Dh has started lining the walls with scrap paneling and progress is being made. We’ve decided to bunk a bed into the eaves on one side and last night we looked for lighting. Hopefully, Sophie will have her playroom this Spring!
Here’s the side that’s finished. It will be painted, of course, when it’s all said and done.

One last shot, showing dh working on that blasted angle. You can see the window here, too.

Hopefully I’ll be back soon with more progress!
Best,
Meagan
